Emily Maguire

Emily is a graduate of University of Delaware, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Emily attended Widener University, Delaware Law School, where she graduated cum laude.

During her third year of law school Emily was a Certified Legal Intern with the Delaware Civil Law Clinic. She provided pro bono legal assistance to low-income Delaware residents who are survivors of intimate partner and domestic violence. In 2023, Emily was awarded the Christine McDermott Memorial Award, for her participation and interest/dedication to providing pro bono legal services and aiding victims of domestic abuse. She was also a member of the Transactional Law Honor Society.

After law school, Emily served as a judicial law clerk in New Castle County Family Law Court for the Honorable Joelle P. Hitch, prior to joining the firm.
