Lisa Coggins

With over 20 years of experience as a Delaware attorney, Lisa has represented a myriad of clients including families, individuals, businesses, executors/personal representatives, trustees, in various matters in all 3 counties of the State of Delaware. Lisa focuses her practice on wills & trusts, estate planning, probate, guardianship, business formation and personal injury. Additionally, she often serves as a Court appointed attorney ad litem in adult guardianship matters.

Lisa attended the University of Delaware where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History in 1997. Thereafter, Lisa attended Widener University School of Law (n/k/a Delaware Law School) in the evening division and worked full time as a bartender, a law clerk for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and then as a corporate bankruptcy paralegal until her graduation from Widener with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2001.

Lisa was admitted to practice in the State of Delaware and the Delaware District Court in 2002. Additionally, she is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association at large as well as the Estates and Trusts, Corporation Law, Real and Personal Property and Women and the Law sections of the Delaware State Bar association.

Lisa was born in Wilmington, DE and now resides in Newark, DE with her husband, kids, a dog, 2 cats and a turtle.
